Layers of color challenge: Yellow

Here is my entry for the yellow theme for the layers of color challenge.
It was a difficult theme for me, because i have to admit i don't like the colour yellow....
The more interesting is this challenge for me, it doesn't say for nothing it is a "challenge!"
The dot background is versamark, and then with chalks.
I masked the girl to make the background.
The flowers are real dried flowers from my own made flower press.

Hier is mijn bijdrage voor het geel thema voor de layers of color challenge.
Het was een moeilijk thema voor mij omdat ik moet toegeven dat ik niet van geel hou...
Dan is deze challenge des te interessanter, het heet niet voor niets een "challenge"!
De gestippelde background heb ik gestempeld met versamark en dan met chalks.
Ik heb het meisje gemaskerd om de achtergrond te kunnen maken.
De bloemen zijn echte bloemen van mijn eigengemaakte bloemenpers

Layers of color challenge: Children

This is what i made for the Layers of color challenge. The theme is "children"
The stamps are from: Artjourney. The stamps are coloured with: Chalks, ink and aquarel pencils.
Used different scrappapers and also samples of cover paper and a ribbon.
It is a card where i used 3 folds.
Like always, when you click on the photo, you get a bigger/closer version of the photo.

Dit is wat ik gemaakt heb voor de Layers of color challenge. Het thema is "kinderen".
De stempels zijn van: Artjourney. De stempels zijn ingekleurd met: chalks, inkt en aquarel podloden.
Ik heb verschillende scrappapiertjes gebruikt, behang stalen en een leuk lintje.
Het is een kaart met 3 vouwen
Zoals altijd, als je op de foto klikt, dan krijg je een grotere versie van de foto te zien.

The card with the lavender field feeling...;-)


The card that missed something....

I kept on looking at my card, and thought that it was not complete.
See the difference with a little real lavender and a head with flowers on the card.
Now you get the dancing in the lavender field feeling... ;-)
It smells so nice!

Just in time, i have made a cup of delicious berry tea for the layer of color challenge!
Hope it taste!

Net op tijd heb ik een heerlijk kopje bessen thee gezet voor de layer of color challenge!

Layers of color challenge: Summer respite

Layers of color challenge
For me summer respite is vacation time.
Just be relaxed, and go to several places!
And not only going on vacation, but also receiving vacation cards!
So i have made a box to store vacation cards in!
Stamps are from the brand "Artemio"

Voor mij zomer pauze is vakantie tijd.
Gewoon een beetje relaxed, en naar verschillende bestemmingen gaan.
En niet alleen op vakantie gaan, maar ook vakantiekaarten ontvangen.
Dus ik heb een doos gemaakt om de vakantiekaarten in op te bergen.
Stempels zijn van het merk "Artemio"

Challenge: Layer of color

This one i made for the Layers of color challenge.
The theme for the challenge is: "celebrate the sea".
I don't have a lot of sea stamps, but i liked the theme so much, that i decided to make something anyway.
So i have made a card and a "card holder" in the theme.
The dolphin stamps and the letters are stamped with "Stazon" on a wooden background.
Hope you like it as much as i liked to make it! And it is usefull too!

Dit is wat ik gemaakt heb voor Layers of color challenge.
Het thema is "celebrate the sea".
Ik heb bijna geen zee stempels maar ik vind het thema wel erg leuk. Dus ik heb besloten toch wat te maken in het thema.
Een kaart en een kaartenhouder. (gestempeld met Stazon op een houten achtergrond)
Je kunt kaarten met de knijpers vastzetten.
Ik hoop dat je het net zo leuk vindt, als ik het vond om het te maken. En het is nog bruikbaar ook!

I didn't hang it on the wall yet, so here it is just put it on a bunch of dvd casings.
Underneath the picture i blurred the cd casings, so the card holder is more clear.

Ik heb het nog niet aan de wand gehangen. Dus ik heb het even op een stapel dvd hoesjes gelegd. Hieronder de foto heb ik die even weggeblurd, zodat de kaartenhouder meer naar voren komt.
